Online entry price is R150. But the rude, unwelcoming, dismissive ticket collector demanded R350 (tourist rate). No prices posted at ticket office. Rude guy probably pockets the difference. I wad looking forward to this visit but, as I say, I was dismissed.

Good museum, displays the personal collection. Some really lovely objects including various vintage tanjore paintings, furniture, ivory, porcelain, paintings from various parts of the world, and a vintage Buick. If you've got spare time and have an interest in museums, then would definitely recommend. Gives a glimpse into the lives of the superrich.

Superb collection. One of the best private collections I have ever seen. Must visit on your trip. Very rare artefacts in the collections.

An amazing private collection of ivory, porcelain and Swarovski Crystal. Beautifully clean and well presented. I was mesmerised for a couple of hours.
Well worth 350 rupee (£4) entrance fee, probably expensive for Kerala.
Closed on Mondays.
Unfortunately you’re not allowed to take photographs and the postcards for sale don’t show much of the exhibits.

I might have driven through this road in snail traffic of alapuzha many times. This is the first time I noticed and did a visit. If you are interested in crystals and antique, this is a must visit. This is a private muzeum and has an entry fee.

Visited the place. Wonderful collection of antiques, ivory, fossils, Jade, other semi precious jewellery and antiques. Worth a million to see the excellent collection of Swarovski pieces. The collection made with excellent taste and arranged with perfection gives a feast to eyes. Spending around an hour and a half made me feel that I made the right decision in visiting Alappuzha aka Aleppy. REPEATING DO NOT MISS THIS. It is around 3.5 KMs from KSRTC Bus Stand/Jetty. Take an auto for around INR46/- from bus stand (US $0.65) and 10 mts ride.

We enjoyed our visit to the RKK, it was relaxing to look around the extensive collections! The pieces were impressive and it was well labelled where they are from, but no much information beyond that.
