We started kayaking in the backwaters with a guide at 7am. After 30min we had a indian breakfast break in a local restaurant along the water. Then we did some kayaking again through some tiny backwaters where bigger boats can't go. It was very peaceful and we could see the rice fields and many colourful houses. The guide was very... More

Myself and my boyfriend did the full day kayaking tour with samson. We had it in the morning because the timing suited us all better and I'm glad we did because we got it done before temperatures got very high. Samson was a fountain of information and we had great chats with him. The tour is easy going, no great... More

We chose the 4 hour tour, it was more than enough. After the experience, we thought the full day tour should have been too long. It was a bit tricky to book, the night before we were told we had to pay cash. With the money problem in India we could not, and we had to make a bank transfer... More

Its a quite peaceful way to explore the backwaters. Kayaking takes you into places that is otherwise unexplorable by normal boats. Relatively safe, but requires some physical fitness. Samson is a extremely helpful instructor. Even arranged a good houseboat for our stay.

After our 7hr kayak tour today i am very pleased I chose kayaks over houseboats for my backwater experience. Samson is knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Lunch felt like an authentic kerala experience with tasty prawn! Loved the chai and snacks and sunset cruise at the end, toddy shop was not my thing though! I would recommend kerala kayaks but be... we had an amazing experience. We did a 7 hour kayaking trip on the backwaters with Samson. We found Samson to be knowledgeable and experienced. It was great to go down tiny backwaters and see how people lived and to explore. The lunch was delicious. Would highly recommend this experience.

Chose this as an eco friendly alternative to the expensive houseboats and we loved it. We did the 4 hour tour with Samson as our guide-he is so interesting and knowledgeable about the local wildlife and more. Kayaking enabled us to see the narrower canals missed on the houseboats which was fascinating. Highly recommend a trip with this company.

I thoroughly enjoyed my trip with Kerala Kayaking. I booked this 6 hour trip 2 days in advanced by phone the last week in October. I got a tuk tuk from my accommodation to the starting point and Samson met me. Whilst waiting for the other 2 to arrive I lay and relaxed on one of the chaise longues on... More

We had a lovely afternoon/evening kayaking for our ladt day here in Alleppy. Our guide, Samson, was knowledgeable, helpful, nice and funny. We stopped for lunch at a local fish restaurant on one of the islands, and later again for tea at another place. Beautiful sunset, birds and life along the canals. Warmly recommend!

We had Sampson as our guide who was great! Lots of local information and answered all our questions. Some good wildlife and a fantastic local breakfast! It's good if you have some experience kayaking as technique is not really taught but the kayaks are good and easy to manoeuvre.
