It is around 15 km from Alleppey and very easily reachable by auto, taxi, bus also not very far from Ambalapuzha railway station. The temple was quite and calm in atmosphere. Male visitor have to remove upper body clothes for darshan. Over all it was a very satisfying experience as we started our Alleppey sight seeing from this temple.

Not really much to see other than the locals rituals to their gods and a sad chained elephant. Guys well have to take their top off as it's compulsory to be bear chested to get inside the inner part of the temple. Girls will need to cover legs.

A typical Kerala-style heritage temple. Unfortunately we missed out on the famous Pal Payasam. Quite some distance from the center.
