Shrivardhan Fort is one of the two hill forts that constitute the Rajmachi fortification. It is located in Rajmachi village which 8.5 km from Lonavala in the Sahyadris mountain range. This fort is underrated but best for travellers who loves to visit new places with less amount to crowd

One can see some amazing techniques, that were used by old timers in construction and using natural resources to there benefit. God place to hangout with friends after a drive. We cooked a BBQ enroute and was lot of fun.

Constructed in typical Maratha Style....there is an image of Ganesh on the door of the fort....better to trek on monsoons otherwise heat would be unbearable

I am super fond of treks and really liked this trek. Though it was quite hot while trekking, but the overall experience was superb.

The trek up the fort is nice, however there is not much to see on top of the fort. Also, it was very hot while trekking, hence the heat was unbearable.
