After a long stroll over a hill and through a construction site, we came to this awe inspiring beach. It was hidden, and well worth the short trek. It was gorgeous, and the highlight of my trip to Padang Bai

We hired a boat to take us over from Candidasa which was a pleasant trip. Once there were were surprised at the variety of coral and abundance of fish – including Nemo which is a big publicity plug they use. We thought it was absolutely beautiful with the best snorkling we have done besides the Great Barrier Reef. I was... More

This beautiful heaven like beach with healthy corals is covered with plastic and other garbage. There is no space left in the sand without rubbish. It was impossible to swim due to the floating garbage on the sea surface. Such a heart breaking scene.

So so disappointed and depressed by this beach...it is advertised everywhere as paradise, but it is absolutely filthy...the high water line is like a garbage truck has emptied its load there, and it isn't much better in the water...we went in for 10 minutes, and whilst we did see a couple of couple of nice fish amongst the crisp packets,... Full of garbage, a dog carcass, I think even unhealty swim in there. BEWARE: local people still ask money to get you there by boat or by scooter and rent snorkeling equipment. Probably they clean it only for tourists. Avoid the place please. BAD BAD BAAAAAD.

We read the bad reviews, but since we're only a 10-minute walk away we wanted to see for ourselves... Just returned feom our walk there were we found a beach with much garbage, which they were burning on the same stretch of beach of no more than 80 meters. So on the positive side: they were cleaning the beach... but... More

My husband and I took a boat trip from our resort to the blue lagoon for snorkeling. The boat trip was nice. The boat driver was very nice. Our snorkel equipment was provided. We got there and thought the site was beautiful. We were given some bread to throw in and many colorful fish came and swam around us. We... More
