It is a long drive from Seminyak. On the way to this there are nice view from top of the mountain. This lake is truly heaven on earth, the panoramic view, the lake, the temple, the tourist attractions are perfect, being incredibly inspiration and unforgettably memories. I would effeminately recommend a visit to this.

We visited on a wet and misty day, but it was still very magical place, the temple gardens were very colourful, but there were huge crowds.

Firstly, I enjoyed the cooler breeze you get from this park. I guess it is because it's somehow up the hill. It's a good break from the harsh humidity and heat of the Balinese lowlands. Nice and interesting structures and water activities, though I didn't have much time to try them. It is also nice I visited when there aren't many people around so I had a great time taking photos of the temples etc.

A great natural site, definitely worth visiting because of the Badugul temple. Stands 1300 m above sea level. Just mind the heavy road and crazy traffic if coming from the south.

The lake main attraction is the floating temple, Ulun Danu Bratan Temple. Cooler air due to its mountainous location.

It seems kind of redundant to reviewing the lake as the only game in town is the temple that sits on it. The licking itself is very serene and not particularly spectacular except of course for the temple that sits on it Shore. See the review of the Temple

Visit to get to visit a cool lake, nice waterfalls and an amazing temple. Stop to try Luwak coffee on the way and to see rice fields without the crowds.

A lovely and discretely styled temple in its own right, it is the mountain and lake study that sets it apart. I was lucky enough to come on a day when the conjunction of sun and cloud painted a stunning and unforgettable canvas. There is so much beauty in Bali, but this stood apart.

This was on our "must do" list when we visited Ubud during our holiday to Singapore and Indonesia. We visited on a weekend so the lake was busy with families enjoying a day out. We got some great pictures but after reading that some people had spent a few hours there. we thought there would be more to see and do. A great place for relaxing in the sunshine and photo opportunities.
