This place is OK but if you are an animal lover or so, you would not like the place much. True that it is maintained in a fairly decent manner but when you see the animals in the barns and all you might feel sad. It's not like they have a say in what happens. Apart from that you get... More

The Ambewela Farms are located about midway from Nuwara Eliya and the World's End jumping-off point. The pastures and fields of the farm, with the colorful cattle happily grazing is a sight completely unexpected. The scene could easily be mistaken for somewhere in New Zealand. Gorgeous landscape! Great place for visitors to gain some exposure to a modern working farm.... More

Can see lot of animals there. Cows, goats, rabbits etc.. We also can feed them. Also have a live session of milking. Very nice weather with scenic atmosphere around.

We had a quick visit to the farm. It was well kept and a beautiful farm. Prepare to walk if you need to have a better look. Don't forget to taste their dairy product the yoghurt and chocolate milk. Check the weather, most of the times it rains or light shower here

One of the coolest and scenic places in Sri Lanka to catch your breath. I never find it boring to visit there over and over again.

The drive to this place is simply amazing and so relaxing!! The kids enjoyed seeing the animals here and getting to pet them and also got to see how milk was collected and how cheese was made. Spent around an hour and half here and enjoyed the delicious fresh milk and curd.

An amazing view as we got close to the farm, the mist rolling over the green hills was truly picturesque. Cold... Misty and wet. Just what we city dwellers wanted. Fresh & flavorful cheese at the farm shop was a pleasant surprise.

First the road towards the farm from Nuwara Eliya was amazing with grass rich fields on both side of the road provided a very pictorial view. The Farm itself is huge, it has a cattle shed which shows live cow milking, it has a goat shed also with little calves were so cute. A rabbit shed also which are generally... More

Sorry for the incorrect price of a fresh glass of hot milk. It was only Rs. 50 or $0.50 cents and not $7.00. It is worth a try. the best milk I have ever tasted.
