We had a tour of this tea factopry during our 6 day tour of Sri Lanka. The two, of us were taken round by a very knowledgeable young lady who was able to answer all of our questions. Unfortunately photography isn't allowed inside the factory...More

The tour of the production facilities is 500 rupees each which I don't think is unreasonable. It was an informative session and there was no hard sell as mentioned in other reviews. In fact it was a bit of an effort to get a tasting...More

Had a nice 20 minute tour round the factory (note: machinery operates only at night). The tea house could do with having a larger outside terrace to enjoy the plantation views whilst sampling the different teas. Also had a wander through the plantation for some...More

Dropped by on the way from the Horton plains and weren't disappointed. A nice short tour in the plant with a cup of tea afterwards made the end of the day. One can crop the tea leaves as well but we were unlucky - it...More

We all had to have a picture of us in our green aprons you have to wear for the tour. The tour was nice - some very old equipment. Interesting how the different teas are made. Nice cup of tea on the deck overlooking a...More

Pleasant enough guided tour although not so much to see unless you come after 11.30 when the first tea comes in from the fields. Photography not permitted! Why not? Management policy apparently. Seriously? What’s the secret. A visit to a tea plantation last year in...More

The guide could not have cared less. Shortest tour possible. Couldn't even be bothered giving us a cup of tea. AND had to pay for the "privilege". Much better options elsewhere - and no charge!

Quick run through the production plant followed by two samples of tea to taste. Then you must buy. I was hoping to visit the tea plantation, but that was not part of the tour -perhaps due to the inclement weather. Not bad, fairly educational, wouldn't...More

Visited this tea plantation, whist staying at Nuwara Eliya, during our recent tour of Sri Lanka. Sited in old buildings with old machinery, built in the 50s, we were taken on an interesting 30 minute tour, which gave us a good insight into the basic process...More

We didn't make a booking to visit. When you show up, they will let you know when is the next available tour. Morning or early afternoon is best. The staff seems to be present between 10 AM and 3 PM.
