I've hiked the trails in this park for many years and have never grown tired of it. The park consists of several hundred hilly acres that are laced with many hiking and bridal trails. There are two lakes and multiple camping sites , most of them have electric but there are also an ample number that are primitive and a... More

Very nice state park that offers a lot. There are two lakes, one which has a sand beach. Trailer and tent camping, including hike-in. Picnic tables. Trails. Small amphitheater. Lots of woods.

Almost nobody there in Nov. 2016 on Tues-Wed that I was there. Beautiful leaves falling. Trails here are very wide, so you probably don't need long pants. Adjacent state forest has long trails. Even in the park have very steep sections. Toilets are pit type, but in nice enclosures that keep flies out. No showers available. No trash receptacles in... More

This state park has an awesome camping area way back in the hollow. The have electric hookups and there is water usually available nearby. Lots of trails to hike and a small lake for fishing. It's a very nice and quiet place to enjoy nature and get some rest.

I grew up going to Scioto Trail State Forest every Sunday for a picnic. There are many places to cook out and eat. The lakes are beautiful and the scenery is awesome. I remember eating dinner then walking around the lake and rolling down the hill for fun when we were kids. It is a great place to take a... More

I have visited Scioto Trail State Park numerous times over the years. I am fortunate to live very close by. I enjoy every visit & it never gets 'boring' to me. The beauty of the area, the wildlife, the creeks & streams, the lakes & best of all, the serenity I feel when I'm there. There are many different opportunities... More

The Scioto Trails State Park is a great and comfortable smaller park but adjacent to the 9400-acre state forest. It is a perfect place for camping, hiking, a family reunion..or just a quick getaway for any reason you can think of. The park has two lakes, a general store, campsites, playground equipment, shelter houses, bridle trails, and a lot more.... More
