Had passed this park many times and it looked like it was just a large sports field and some open space with grass. Totally mistaken. This is a large and beautiful natural area with a variety of ecosystems; riverside, forest, prairie etc., and diverse flora and fauna. Accessible paths provide a very good walk, was not crowded at all when... More

From a minor league baseball stadium to endless football and soccer fields, and basketball courts , surrounded by nature, including a forest for hiking, 300 acre Warner Park is a great place for nearly every outdoor activity, including jogging, dog walking, Crane watching and even a bit of fishing. A park like this is a true "gift" for any city... More

From lush, grassy spaces to a picturesque lake - Warner Park is a quaint little spot for walking, riding bikes, sitting on benches, checking out the local birds of all types, etc.

What a nice ballpark, plenty of things for the little kids to do, from games, to rolling on the grass. I enjoyed watching the kids have fun and watching a baseball game too.

Huge park. Near a business park and close by restaurants and a little shopping. Nice little ponds. Nice paved trails. Leads to the beach which is Lake Mendota. Can't wait to go back every time. Good for any age. A good walk and workout!

Large park on Madison's north side....there is a nice shelter house, a bike path through the park and a small park on one end...it's a large open area good for picnics and large groups.

This is a nice park to walk or bike through and there is also a dog area you can go leash-free in. It is just a small walking area, nothing incredible. I say it is a semi-dangerous area because there have been shootings and lots of theft near Troy Drive and this entire area is low income housing. I'd park... More

I attended a Madison Mallards game for a work event. They made it really easy giving us a bracelet that let us get all the food and drinks needed. I was prepared to not eat anything at the park as I need a gluten free diet. Much to my surprise they offered gluten free bun substitutes, gluten free condiments and... More

Warner Park used to host the "Rhythm and Booms" Fireworks Show that has in the past couple of years moved over to the area by John Nolen Drive and Lake Monona. The park still offers a large grassy area for activities even though it is a park within the city.

I lived down the street from Warn from Warner Park for three years. Its well known for "Rhythm And Bloom" carnival and fireworks show, This takes the first three days of July. The carnival is free the first night it is up in it's completion.
