It was our first experience at the Overture, and we thoroughly enjoyed the venue and the Phantom performance. We plan to start going back on a regular basis. There are a good variety of restaurants nearby that you can enjoy before or after a performance.

Terrific venue for fantastic Broadway shows. As series ticket holders, we are right in the center of the orchestra floor seats. Just behind the chandelier for Phantom. Can be a challenge climbing over people to get out/in at intermission and be prepared to stand in line for the restrooms, but they always leave plenty of time for everyone to get... More

We were fortunate to see Boyz II Men at this first rate theater. We were in Row D of the Mezzanine, and the seats were ideal. The sound, the sight lines, the staff, and the leg room all made this an enjoyable place indeed (I only wished the show had been a bit more than 90 minutes) but that is... More

We go to the symphony at the Overture Center for the arts for at least 5 symphony concerts every year. The hall is beautiful and you can hear well in any seat in the house. The Madison symphony itself is wonderful, full of talented musicians. Maestro DeMain is an amazing conductor.

Great theater with 4 levels. They really want to maximize seating, though, with no middle aisle, so if you sit in the middle you have to go past 20 people. So consider that when booking.

First time watching a show here and it was beyong amazing! We sat in the circle and even though these were "cheaper" seats, we had a great view! Easy to find and plenty of parking garages. Will def return!

First time in the Overature Hall for a major production. The play's sets for being a 10 day stop of a touring production were. We sat 6 rows back which let us enjoy the first class costumes and the great orchestra music. The singing by the cast was great. At intermission be prepared for restroom queues. We parked in the... Overture is an excellent venue to see a performance. We saw Phantom of the Opera in Jan 2017. The staging was great, viewing was terrific, and I'd rather go here than downtown Chicago venues. Far easier to navigate and only a 2-hour drive from Chicago suburbs. Definitely worth the time.

We are Chicagoans, and had seen The Phantom of the Opera for our Silver anniversary 25 years ago. We were too late to see it this year at a downtown Chicago theater for our Golden Anniversary, and a little late in making the decision to drive to the Overture Center. Thus, we were in row M, center seats at the... More

If you are from the big cities you have access to theater and the arts in a much bigger way and with more frequency. The Overture Center provides the Madison community exposure to national productions frequently available only in the bigger cities. While the calibre of performances and size of productions may not be on a par with big city... More
