Enjoyed visiting the area and learning from the tour guides. The only down fall is I felt rushed and unable to take the photos I wanted.

So much history here. Definitely take a tour and learn about what makes New Orleans so unique. It is such a shame what vandals have done but from our tour guide it sounds like the town is coming together to preserve its legacy.

We had a tour guide who provided a wealth of info about not only the cemetery, but history of the city and it's inhabitants going back centuries. A worth while 2 hours.
There are many cemeteries in NOLA most of which can be seen for free, but not this one! I visited as part of a tour, which I recommend to get the most out of your trip. Otherwise you are looking at a lot of crypts...More
