We decided this would be our first tour so we booked it through VooDoo Lounge. It was a very interesting tour and very insightful. The walk is not that bad at all and we all had a great time.

Pleasantly surprised and very satisfied w this experience. Guide from SaveOurCemeteries.org gave plenty of history about this most unique American city in addition to history of the cemetery itself (was worried a 90 min tour in a cemetery could be boring, it was NOT).

We were on a tour, but what a cool place to just walk around and check it out. Lots of history, and the above ground tombs are awesome!

Our tour guide was Marta. She was very nice, and funny. She showed us the infamous Marie Laveau tomb(s). Also Mr Plessy from the infamous Plessy vs Ferguson court case.
