I could have walked around looking at the monuments all day. I find this type up burial so interesting. Loved the tokens left for lost loved ones.

We took a guided tour of this old cemetery. It's quite interesting to hear something about this history of the place, and why things are the way they are. Most of the tombs are old and in disrepair, often falling apart, some reduced to nothing...More

We had this wonderful lady named Joanne and she was great. I have been on tours before, and the guide just really got flustered when you asked questions, however you could tell that Joanne knew her stuff, could answer questions and even my daughter who...More

Our guide, Graham, was very knowledgeable about the cemetery and various notable people who were resting there. I think it’s reasonable for the Archdiocese of New Orleans to only allow people in the cemetery with a guide because people are generally disrespectful; as this is...More

You cannot enter the cemeteries without a tour guide. Our carriage driver was a register tour guide for this cemetery and took us through the cemetery sharing many interesting facts and figures.

I think it’s absolutely ridiculous to charge $20.00 per person to get into a cemetery. I understand that people were breaking in to the cemetery and damaging the tombs and gravestones. That is very sad that people would do that. Why not just have someone...More

Very disappointed this cemetery was charging a 20.00 fee! We left and found a no charge one that was even BETTER!

The crypts there have been there for centuries and some have a perpetual care which means they are maintained by the cemetery.

We found Lafayette interesting so when we went to see St Louis we just felt one cemetary was enough.

Earlier in the morning the better, does get hot. We went through Witch Brew Tours, Rose the guide was great! Found a groupon which made it a two for one. I enjoyed it and would do it again.
