Enjoyed visiting the area and learning from the tour guides. The only down fall is I felt rushed and unable to take the photos I wanted.

Our tour of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 was great. Our guide was Judy Geddes Bajoie. She is a native of New Orleans and a former history teacher. Judy not only told us all about this cemetery but she was a wealth of information about...More

My family & I took a French Quarter carriage tour that included a stop and guided walk-through of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1. This Catholic burial ground is on the edge of the Quarter, but only accessible as part of a fee-based guided tour. The...More

I've seen pictures of the New Orleans cemeteries all my life, but seeing this one in person was a great experience. We saw this one as part of our carriage tour (Royal Carriages). Our tour guide, Michelle, was very knowledgeable and made it a fun...More

The day was hot and there is no air circulating behind those walls. The tour guide was not very good and seemed to be interested in only 2-3 tombs and that is all we saw. Just not the tour I was expecting and was disappointed...More

So much history here. Definitely take a tour and learn about what makes New Orleans so unique. It is such a shame what vandals have done but from our tour guide it sounds like the town is coming together to preserve its legacy.

Trip advisor had a great selection of tours which we chose the free walking tours which had them every day. You paid what you felt the tour was worth and paid $2 per person for entrance into the cemetery.

It varies. There are different tour companies that offer tours. The cemetery itself does not hold them. I did a search for cemetery tours in NOLA and found mine. I also found a Groupon for it, so check there before making... More
