We were here during Halloween, so there was a special Mourning tour. The house was decked out like it would have been during Victorian times when a death occurred in the family. It was an interesting tour and we enjoyed it.

Guides are very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a wonderful step back into the past, from front parlour to back stage utility areas!

We went during the month of October . During this month the house is displayed in a funeral setting. Seeing the customs of the time was very interesting. This is a beautiful house with a lot of history.

Ellie was our tour guide and she did an amazing job providing background information on the Hermann-Grima house, including the families that lived in it and the lifestyle that they led. We also got the bonus of learning about funeral traditions in the early 1800s...More

Have been twice over the years. The docent was very good and the house, garden and quarters in back of house are so interesting. It is an hour tour and really keeps your interest.

The house is magnificently curated and it is a part of the Historic New Orleans Collection. Exhibits are well done and a good place to spend some time during 2018, the City's 300th anniversary

This is a beautiful house to tour in the heart of the French Quarter. It is a great way to learn about life in the Quarter way back when.

A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living
lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty

It's under 16.00 per person (15-something). It's a really good tour and gives you so much historical details about the.e house, the family, the era, and about New Orleans. I highly recommend this one.

Not when I went, but you are free to ask the guide questions. We were the only ones on our tour, so it felt more custom to our individual interests. I'd email them to see if you could focus on her in your tour.
