Have been here several times to enjoy the small, but choice selection of books. The staff has always been spot on with their recommendations, especially about Southern literature and history.
Easy to miss but so close to all the other tourist spots! Tiny shop but filled with great quality books. It's organized and the woman at the desk was very helpful.
If you're a fan of Southern writers, then don't miss this place. Found a beautiful first-edition Sherwood Anderson here at an attractive (affordable!) price. Very close to Jackson Square where you can tuck in and read your new literary purchase.

It was a real treat to visit the very apartment where William Faulkner wrote his first novel! A beautiful building with an amazing collection of books. It’s also only one block away from where Tennessee Williams write A Streetcar Named Desire!
