A hidden gem!

Luckily we met a couple who had been here. What a nice relaxing venue for jazz and drinks. We definitely will return.

We found this hidden gem a few years ago and now we love going every time we are in New Orleans. The bartenders can make almost any drink and are very personable. They also have a nice courtyard where you can sit, have a drink and listen to the music. The food at the Bombay Club is also excellent. We... More

This is a great place to get a drink and get excellent bar food. The bartender recommended the pimento cheese fries, a good, greasy choice! I also had the pork belly tacos which were great ! In the past, I have gone here for their late night burger - which never disappointed !

this place in the French Quarter offers quiet time for a drink and/or a meal. we only had a drink at the outside patio where you can smoke listening to a very good pianist. Friendly service and relatively reasonable prices.

This martini bar and restaurant is just set back from the entrance of the Prince Conti Hotel. We sat at the bar and enjoyed enjoy live jazz music after a very busy shopping day in the French Quarter. The food was authentic and NOLA at its best! Can't wait to go back!

Underneath the Prince Conti Hotel, this hidden bar behind the red door is our secret. Small and quaint with British decor and padded couches, this place attracts us for its ambiance, good drinks, and attentive staff. It is also a restaurant, but we've not eaten there. We stay in the Prince Conti just to be near this place to end... More

I recently spent a week in New Orleans on a business trip. A colleague and I were looking for a quiet place to smoke a cigar, have a drink, and have a private conversation. The concierge originally directed us to French 75, which had for years maintained a smoking lounge. Unfortunately it closed a couple of months ago, but the staff... More

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly wait staff, nice music by piano player, next day he was joined by drummer. Bar gets packed early, as do the sofa and chairs making it hard to find a place to sit. They serve meals, so you are not allowed to sit at the linen covered tables if you are drinking only! The waiter we had... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
