Had a blast in nasty fun bourbon street. Fun place. Old guys rocked the 80s rock. People watching was epic. Service was good. A go to for sure. Stumbled in and stumbled out. A lot of that going on.

We stopped in due to the really great band that we heard playing. That was the best part. The bartender was more interested in her phone than getting us something to drink. The place was almost empty, because of the bad service if I had to guess. We had one beer a piece and left after that since she didnt... More

We came in and the service sucked. Seemed like the bartender acted like she was being put out by having to get us drinks. Spent most her time cuddled up by the stairs on her phone. Only bottles of beer and mixed drinks. If they had more we weren't told. Only plus are the band and it's the air conditioning... More

Spent two hours at the Old Opera House on Bourbon Street and had a blast. The band was Chicken on the Bone and they were fantastic. Generous drinks and a great place to chill out to really good music.

On our first night in NOLA, we went to OOH. What a fun night! We didn't get the name of the band, but they were outta sight. They played funky music that was made for dancing. We were planning to go bar hopping, but the music was so good that we stayed at OOH. Why leave?

We love to go there to hear the band Chicken on the Bone. We were able to hear them several nights on our most recent visit.

We found our way into the Old Opera House, drawn by the music. The band, "Chicken on the Bone" was incredible. The played hits from the 60s-80s with emotion and energy. We enjoyed them so much we purchased t-shirts and a CD! If they had only served some food or appetizers we would have stayed all night. Otherwise, the drinks... More

Good drinks good music. However if you want the tv changed you'll have to ask security to do it. (?) Otherwise good time.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
