The park is naturally beautiful with century old oak trees such as Trees of Life. However, it probably needs both a manicure and pedicure as maintenance is lacking. It could be a lot better than its current form, not unlike the city of New Orleans...More

We took the St. Charles Street car from Canal street to Audubon Park. This was a nice diversion from the French Quarter. The park has a great paved pedestrian street around the park. A good way to burn off those monring beignets.

Not quite as beautiful as the New Orleans City Park, but right in the heart of town, so it's convenient, clean and a nice place to spend some time. But, because of its prime location be mindful of the homeless and panhandlers who may undoubtedly...More

Must visit park in New Orleans' garden district. Walk around, picnic, go to the zoo. So many options, all of which are amazing. Street car will take you right to it.

We are birders so when we heard that Audubon Park was near our hotel we made a plan to visit it. We took the St Charles St trolley through the Garden District and then stopped at the park on the way back to the French...More

Take your time and enjoy this beautiful park and if you have a chance take a picnic. Great for golf, bike riding or enjoying the Zoo.

Very much their own self sufficient unit within the
greater metro area, Uptown and Carrollton tone down
the urban edge with a friendly attitude and collegiate
feel. Home to Tulane and Loyola Universities, all the
students living in the area ensure that Uptown and
Carrollton stay youthful, cosmopolitan and vibrantly
fun. Two of the liveliest thoroughfares for nightlife
and socializing (and yes of course more of the city’s
