Gray Line New Orleans has been showcasing the city since 1924. Locally owned and operated, the Gray Line schedule includes the award winning Original Cocktail Tour. Another top offering is the Ghost Tour, which has been so intensely researched that the hotel with the most reported Ghost sightings in the city has invited Gray Line to produce an exhibit in their hotel. Among our professionally escorted tours are the Super City Tour, Katrina Tours, Swamp & Bayou, Airboat Swamp Tours, Oak Alley & Laura Plantation Tours, Cemetery & Voodoo, French Quarter & Garden District Walking Tours We limit the number of guests on our walking tours to enhance the experience and the view is always better from our luxurious mini-busses and motor coaches. Our Tour Guides are well trained, licensed, and want to share their personal experiences along the way. Morning to evening you can count on Gray Line New Orleans

Our driver Ken was very knowledgeable and personable. He gave a running commentary as we would our way out of NOLA toward the river road and the area where the sugar plantations are located.

We took the combo City and Paddle boat tour with Gray Line. We really enjoyed the sights, stops and informative guide on the City bus tour. The cruise on The Mississippi was nice with the jazz music. However, some of the food service employees were less than pleasant.

Booked four tours for three days in New Orleans. I did the Paddleboat Natchez which I reviewed separate from this. The second tour was the cocktail tour. Very interesting but the tour guide left us at a bar in an alley. Tour was 5 to 6:30. She abandoned us at 6. I would be scare to go on another tour... More

This tour was a wonderful surprise! I expected to learn about the history of New Orleans' signature cocktails, but also appreciated the history lessons incorporated into the narration. Our guide, Joe, was one of the creators of this tour and was extremely well versed and engaged everyone in our group. My favorite part was the tour of the private dining... More

Daniel Chick was a great guide and the tour touched on all the important events and their timing plus where they happened. Daniel was part of the evacuation and told first hand what happened and the facts. He mentioned on how the media passed along many rumors that were not true. I recognized many of the areas where I helped... More

Highly recommended. The tour drove around the low lying areas that were flooded and places where breaches in the levies had occurred. The guide explained what happened and why, the economic and social impact of the flooding, and the ongoing recovery. Very worthwhile, we had a great guide (Carol) & driver.

We had the best time and it is all Sandi's doing!! We, our group, strolled along the streets of New Orleans. What a wonderful place. Sandi was a very courteous, friendly, fun and and new what she was talking about. We went to places we would never have had access to. When one place was closed for a private function... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
