Wonderful market with maybe 30 vendors offering really well priced meals with lots of seating available. The choices were extensive with everything looking fresh. We choose seafood based meals which were all great. An excellent venue.

Tour is a safe and easy way to see the history of New Orleans. Keep a water bottle on your seat, other tourists will steal your seat on the bus :/

Located within the St. Roch neighborhood, this cemetery has been called the most unusual in all of New Orleans. This is probably due to the St. Roch chapel, which is located in the cemetery and is filled with prosthetics, crutches, and other items of those...More

While the larger cemeteries in New Orleans are certainly interesting and beautiful, this smaller site is easily accessible and charming in a very different way. The highlight is the small chapel and its collection of ex votos: polio braces, glass eyes, dental plates, handwritten notes...More

Visited this place the day before Halloween. It is off the wall and absurd! Quite macabre in it's presentation. Dedicated to St. Roch, patron saint of healing against the plague and in this case during the Louisiana yellow fever epidemic. Located off the beaten path...More

We went to this cemetery on a cool, rainy day. We took the Riverfront trolley from near the convention center to the French Market stop to shorten our hike, but it was still a decent walk, probably another 20 minutes from the French Market. If...More

I have lived in NOLA for 30 years and this is my favorite cemetary---many tombs, stations of the cross, and two chapels. I have never had any trouble in this neighborhood but one must be alert to the surroundings.
