This cemetery is huge. We drove around for a while and then we got out and walked to some of the bigger tombs and mausoleums. There were tombs dating back to the 1800’s. While we were there we stumbled upon a military service that was...More

We toured this cemetery while with our city cemetery tour. It rained most of the tour so our video and photos weren’t good. Luckily when we arrived here the rain took a break and we were able to get out and walk through the cemetery...More

We were absolutely blown away at this cemetery! The mausoleums are absolutely beautiful. We spent about a half hour driving around and looking at them. We would have easily spent all day driving around if we did not have other plans. You have to stop...More

You just have to see one of the many above ground cementaries in New Orleans. This one is free (a bit of the beaten track) away from French Quarter, so you have more privacy (need a car to get there). Well worth a visit.

We have a tomb at Lake Lawn, its well kept. We take flowers often, especially on holidays, birthdays.

This cemetery is beautiful and just amazing. It do not give off that sad vibe place to be. It gives a peacefully garden vibe feeling with amazing architectural tombs. It is well maintained and the tombs are fabulous.

We visited the cemetery during the Halloween season and it made our vacation that much more enjoyable and spooky. It did get hot later in the day so be sure to wear cool clothing.
