Erin Rose is a neighborhood bar steps from Bourbon street. Life is good when sitting in the windows watching the world go by while sipping on a delicious adult libation. While small and cozy big on love and great passion for history, (hence the decor on the walls) community, and good times. Our motto says it all... Local Chaos Local Prices Local Love

This bar is just off of the craziness of Bourbon Street, but it's a really great little dive. We only had one drink here, but we really enjoyed it. I appreciated the old juke box and the fact that Killer PoBoys is in the back! I would definitely come back here!

Came back here several times, love the atmosphere and the Irish coffee! Agreeable prices, and I think misses some of the rowdier crowd from Bourbon because it's off on the corner. Definitely one of my favourite bars in New Orleans!

My husband loves Irish coffee. When he saw the sign that read "Famous Frozen Irish Coffee", he could not wait to try it. The frozen coffee comes out of a machine and is very smooth. Erin Rose has happy hour from 10 am to 2 pm, and they really have good prices for the French Quarter. They also have po-boys,... More

I try to do some research before traveling and like to go where the locals go. That is how I found Erin Rose. And it was love from the moment we walked through the meat curtains hanging in the doorway! :) Great dive bar atmosphere, this place was always busy and we visited there 4 times in the 3 days... I googled best Bloody Mary in the quarter and Erin Rose was on every list. It's a nice neighborhood bar just off Bourbon and though some folks (like me) are visiting, some live nearby. Bartenders were cool, the clientele was friendly and I hear the Po Boys are great

Small and always packed. Nice atmosphere and good music (not live). The list of available po'boys looked delicious and I regret not trying as the kitchen was always busy with the orders and they looked amazing. A good place to stop for a drink but be prepared to stand.

First thing on Saturday morning, we stopped by Erin Rose for their famous Frozen Irish Coffees, which is basically a bailey's chocolate frappuccino. That fame is definitely justified as they are absolutely delicious. They are very inexpensive as well. I would recommend stopping by!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
