Charles was an amazing speaker giving us information about how New Orleans came to be on the way to the battlefield & an incredibly moving recount of what it was like during Katrina and the aftermath. Highly recommend!!

We have never done the touristy things NO has to offer. We opted to try the Creole Queen. The boat itself is very nice, clean, and spacious. I opted to pay for the onboard buffet for lunch to try to kill two birds with one...More

This is by far the most educational tour I've done on a venue like this. Not only educational, but also very entertaining. Charles, is a great orator and personalized much of the history he related. Our tour took us to the battlefield where a park...More

It was a nice river cruise. It's buffet style food.. But it's good food. Service was excellent! Get there early around 6pm.. pig out and then go upstairs and enjoy the scenic view with great live music!

His story of hurricane Katrina was very poignant. As well as his history of the War of 1812. Cruise was very relaxing and the stop T the battlefield nice. Thanks Charles for some perspective on Katrina and New Orleans.

I went into this trip not expecting much more than a cruise down the river with a few historical facts thrown at me along the way. What I ended up getting was an incredible overview of the history of the area told in hilarious narrative...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and

away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Yes, you can go inside the house but the small museum and the maps along the American rampart line are far better. The house is a reconstruction of a typical mansion. There is nothing inside of it. If you want to see the... More
