If you go? and I will hope you go. Do your self a favor and watch Aerial America New Orleans after you go. This was a grate ride. David who was our pilot was amazing. The knowledge he knew about the history of this city was outstanding. The office staff was wonderful and I would do it again. The view... More

Owners are very rude and unreasonable, not friendly at all for working with the public. I feel bad for the employees having to put up with it daily. Other than that, the experience in the air was nice and beautiful This is definitely a sight to see. Our pilot, David, was very friendly and the front desk personnel was very... More

What a way to view the beautiful city of New Orleans. I had booked a demo flight lesson on C172/PA28. With only basic instructions, they allow you to take controls of the plane. Taking off/on, changing the direction, speed/altitude etc. Plus the beautiful new Orleans from Bird's Eye view. Unbelievably amazing experience. I am definitely on my way to get... More

We took the 45 minute daytime flight and loved it! It was a beautiful, clear day, so we could see really well. Our pilot, Jose, was great about giving history and info about the sites below, and generally making sure we had a good time. It's a flight we'll never forget and a highlight of our visit to New Orleans.... More

Our pilot, Antwoine, was awesome! He was gracious enough to take a gazillion pictures of us. This was a surprise for my beloved. He thought we were going to see a Jazz band. Ha! He always wanted to be a pilot, so this close up experience was a lovely gift for him! Lacey and Brandy were also amazing. They were... More

I'm not sure were to begin, but we will definitely not be attempting this one again. I scheduled a sunset Cork & Crescent aerial tour for me a partner over Halloween weekend and it was the thing we were most excited about. We arrived at 5:50 and our flight was scheduled to take off at 6pm. We were running to... More

Please accept our sincerest apology. That is not how we like to operate here at Flight Academy of New Orleans. We absolutely understand the aggravation the situation caused for the two of you and the inconveniences that followed it. By our standards, the delay to your flight was completely unacceptable. We also know the bottle of champagne didn’t make up... More

I had two reasons to book the flight: to see if I can survive a small plane trip without motion sickness and to have my friend (who has a pilot license that is being unused) take advantage of a dual flight. Jose was our instructor and he was as calm and friendly as one can be. I had no fear,... More

Staying in Treme

Neighbourhood Profile
Treme
That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.
