If you want to see all of New Orleans and learn its history then you won't want any other tour than this. Our guide was a native to New Orleans who narrated our tour with his love of this city coming through with each story he told. The stop at the cemetery was one of two stops and by far... More

We did the St. Louis Cemetery #1 tour which was so interesting and informative. The we did the small airboat swamp tour and talk about fun!! Our boat captain was Steve and he was so nice and funny! The hotel pick-up was great too...

This guided 3 hr boat tour was awesome! Lots to see while slowly gliding on the Mississippi River backwaters. There are old fishing shacks scattered throughout the area and the water lilies, Spanish Moss, blue herons, white egrets, strange yellow and brown banana spiders and alligators are easily pointed out along the way. The tour guides are very proud of... More

A private car with an educated driver escorted us around NOLA neighborhoods showing us the cites and giving us quite a bit of history. We were fortunate to come upon a former church that happened to be open so we were able to enter. Same with a beautiful home in the Garden District. The driver was flexible and wanted to... More

Both of these tours are great - loved Laura Plantation and the air boat guides were local and informed and very responsive to questions and requests. That said, I have some reservations about the tour company. The bus driver picked us up from our hotel and seemed disorganized. She was multi-tasking with a phone and clipboard and zipping around the... More

Due to a very tight schedule, i booked a city tour followed by a swamp tour on the same day. Hotel pick-up was as scheduled and transfer from the city tour to the swamp tour was done flawlessly. On the return, we asked the driver to drop us off near the French Quarter instead of the hotel which was in... More

Although we booked this tour more than 3 weeks in advance on-line, the bus did not pick us up at the hotel by 9am as scheduled. After calling this company and waiting 15 minutes, they had the bus turn around and return to pick us up. When we finally entered the bus, the driver was obviously irritated and everyone glared... A great city tour with extremely knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Really enjoys his city and it's history. Chris made the tour very educational and informative. Have taken the city tour with other companies by far this was the best.

This was the best part of our trip...Captain Earnie was informative and very funny...we saw several Aligators and a baby that we were able to hold. I left feeling less afraid of these creatures and more in Aww. I can't say enough about this company and tour. The boats are comfortable and you wear protective gear on your ears and... More

Staying in Treme

Neighbourhood Profile
That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.
