We love to look for local art when we travel. We often find artist's co-ops to be a great place to hunt local treasures. Rhino is such a gallery. The artists represented are immensely talented. We particularly liked the blown and sculpted glass art. They...More

Rhino is a non-profit gallery that strives to display work by local artists. It is a very attractive space and there is usually an artist there who you can talk to. They also have workshops and partner on other art events. It is worth a...More

A great place to visit on a hot summer day! Nice walk from the French Quarter. Great artisans and fair prices. Upscale shop. Then we went to the movies for the matinee!

Art is definitely up to par like it used to be. Now just crafts in my opinion. Disappoint. Nothing really special or that I would consider good art.

Ok, you're tired of the tacky from French Market and other local touristy shops and you want really well done, tasteful and high quality, this is your place. It's a cooperative where you can meet the artist from whom you buy. The items are beautiful,...More

Rhino is a co-operative of artists and artisans who sell their work here. The name comes from the first letters of Right Here In New Orleans. The work is mostly glass, pottery and jewelry but you will also find painting, sculpture and metal work. Prices...More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
