A family wedding was celebrated here and the site was as memorable as the reason we were there. This is a church to visit, and remember!

I am not a Catholic, but my wife is. However, often, when we travel, I do attend Mass with her, and it was just such an occasion, that we went to Immaculate Conception Church, on Baronne St, in the CBD (Central Business District) of New...More

To see this Church up close and personal, it is best to go during a service and enjoy the service and the beauty of this place. When you go as a tourist access is limited.

This church is a true gem in New Orleans. While many people admire St. Louis Cathedral and rightly so, The Immaculate Conception Church has a very rich history dating back to 1850. As an example of the Moorish Architecture it contains some remarkable examples of...More

Beautiful Catholic Church directly across from the Waldorf-Astoria hotel. Quite an interesting history behind the church. If you're in the area, check it out!

In our opinion, the inside of Immaculate Conception was slightly more beautiful the St. Louis Cathedral on Jackson Square. Just off Canal Street and a short walk from our hotel we entered the church to be amazed at the beauty and serenity of the place....More

Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other
parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title
might suggest that this area is all about business and
little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you
away from the Central Business District. The CBD
offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be
touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the
world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts
