We did this tour on Sunday night during Mardi Gras. It was a highlight of my trip, and I attribute much of that to our tour guide, Lucy. She spoke very fast but was easy to understand. She had a passion for her role and made the stories very interesting. She was able to add tidbits from friends and previous... More

We just took a tour with Bobby. I'm in New Orleans very frequently and am very familiar with a lot of the quarter and the lore. I stay with a writer friend of mine who has been living here a few years. She is also very familiar with the surrounding area. Both of us were very pleased to learn a... More

My husband and I were in town for a mini vacation. We chose this tour by luck due to it being our last day in town. We could not have picked a better tour. Daphne was a very passionate story teller and was very interesting and courteous. I would highly recommend touring with Daphne if you are interested in learning... More

Did this tour last week for a better insight into the garden district. This tour lasted 1 1/2 hours and were entertained & informed every step of this tour. Jesse StCroix was delightful and very knowledgeable. There is so much history here! I recommend this tour to get better acquainted with a beautiful section of New Orleans.

Great 2 hour trip through the back streets and dark lanes of New Orleans with city native Jack - he has the voice and steel blue eyes of Clint Eastwood. A great and educational experience. Thanks Jack!

My friends and I decided to do the haunted ghost tour. The tour would not have been enjoyable without our amazing tour guide, Lisa. She was full of knowledge, energy and made the 2 hours fly by. If you decide to take the tour make sure it is with Lisa.

We had Pam as our tour guide, and she was fantastic. Great sense of humour and full of history made interesting. Very knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend this tour and very cheap!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
