If you plan to go to Grosslockner, this is a beautiful lake side village to stay for a night or two.

At the lake, you can find many boat rental booth where the hair different types of boat. We took 1 hour and it was fantastic ride It cost me 28 for 4 persons

a beautiful town !! Self drive is the best way to visit here. lot of restaurants around. if on a honeymoon a highly recommended place.

Having been to dozens of ski resorts across Austria, France and Italy, Zell am See lacks character compared with many others. Of course it does have all things necessary, but something just seemed lacking. Maybe it was the charm. Hope you found this useful!

Charming and amazing lake view , cool and calm town , we enjoyed walking , setting there , some arabic foods are there .

Such a wonderful village with so much to do. Wonderful hotels pubs and restaurants with a great atmosphere. The tourist board know how to market this resort and you will not be disappointed.

Visited Zell am See with a group of keen and experienced skiers. The ski area is good, but fairly limited if you like "chewing up the miles" on your skis. I would suggest for less experienced skiers, the place is perfect. Zell is a good...More

i am coming on the 1st June 2017 to Zell is there a bus to take you up to the Schmittenhohe , and is the a outside family swimming pool. Thanks chris

Yes, there's a bus system you can use. Hopefully, your hotel can give you the correct bus information. As for an outdoor swimming pool, I'd say most hotels would not have one. I swam in the lake!
