Stayed here in early Jan 2019 and it snowed heavily most of the week. The snow was exceptional as a result and we skiied every day since the the visibility was adequate due to tree cover and shelter further down. My wife struggled in the...More

Pretty extensive resort - well maintained. Nice nursery slopes but not great for progression to the more difficult runs so would suit absolute beginners or confident intermediates. Some of the lifts can get pretty busy, notably the Hornalm lift - also our favourite ski area....More

I have skied at almost all the mega resorts but loved Alpbach. The ski area is medium sized but interesting. None of the pistes are very challenging, but there is a good selection of black runs. Most are attractive and interesting. The lift system is...More

The ski area is covered by plenty of gondolas and chair lifts with a few drag lifts. We had so much snow whilst there that the pistes couldn't be groomed for the first couple days. After that they were superbly prepared, wide slopes, great skiing.
