Vsar is a sleepy town with lovely ocean views. Not much to do. This is a nice walk while seeing sculptures, worth a visit if you are in the area. Free.

A nice atmospheric spot near Vrsar, definitely worth going if you are visiting the town, which itself is attractive in a sedate way. Plus it is free. The sculptures in corten, aluminium and concrete by Dusan Dzamonja, set in a pleasant park near the sea, are mildly diverting but I can't honestly say they really captured my imagination. Good disabled... More

A little walk from vrsar we came across the unassuming Park, after entering we were met with a quiet relaxing area of green with large gens of men art sculptures. Each having its own area complimenting it's interpretation. A lovely hour, there was some builywork going on that restricted other areas so it may be better, if you walk back... More

Dzamonja sculpture park was open to the public when I first came to Vrsar in 1976. I mean 1976 ! The local community granted him land as a well known artist (at the time YU sculptor) and he responded with free entrance to all by goers. My sis even had a word with him, about 20 years ago and discovered... More

This was a fantastic collection of modern art sculptur0 by Dušan Džamonja. Each piece was museum quality (ok it is a museum, but I mean each piece could hold it's own at any museum in the world). This is what modern art is about, seeing the modern world in a new light and perspective. Each piece is new yet familiar.... More

For me, this is one of the best parks in Istria...I've been visiting it for more than 20 years and it is still the same (which for me is a good thing). There is a good energy there, plus not many people, so you can meditate or chill freely.

Vrsar itself is a lovely village that you can walk across. Parking on the east side, we walked down to the docks, up to the church on top then down to the Sculpture garden. So many outstanding views, and the quarry is interesting as well.

We brought av pic-nic and had a nice time, but there's not that much to see, really. Some cool sculptures, but not that many and most of them similar to each other.
