Cute shops and most local people working in them were very friendly. The Honolua Surf co was a favorite of my 2 teenage girls. We went in there every time we went into town. Cute name brand surf styles and they were having a penny sale. Bought something each time we went in. However, the young girls working there were... More

With three daughters and two grand kids this was the place to shop for everything the wife wanted. Specialty shops and adventure tours included. Lunch with the ocean view was nice, cold beverage while the wife shopped was an added bonus.

I enjoyed the shops, galleries and especially the little coffee shop that served the best frappe I've ever tasted. Spent most of the afternoon in the back of Inn watching the waves and enjoying some peace.

This village is full of places to shop including apparal, food, coffee, and hawaiian handmade goods! There is a great variety of shopping at this location. We were able to get some wonderful coffee, and some apparal! :) The shops are all pretty close together but there is some walking distance to go to some.

Lots of shops including galleries, clothing, gifts, coffee, souvenirs etc all walkable. Primary building use to be the first hotel in Kona where steamships brought tourists.

It is very much designed for tourists and quite interesting but the shops do not provide a whole lot of interesting shopping. Many of the shops were fairly tacky selling junk, with a few exceptions. Could be vastly better.

Went by car with my wife. Shops mainly for cruise boats. Much of the same, and a limited selection. With Walmart near by, this area is nice for a walk.

Nice little area but prices are high and not all stores open same hours so hit or miss. Everyone was friendly but needs some maintenance.
