My husband and I had a blast on captain Elaine’s boat. She was super knowledgeable about the dolphins, whales and Captian Cook’s Monument. She was funny and kept things interesting. We’d go again in a heartbeat!

Our excursion was fantastic and met all our needs. Erika and Tiana were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and helpful, the treats were great, and we saw lots of dolphins. I especially appreciate the respect for care of the natural environment shown by Dolphin Discoveries.

Captain Elaine was terrific! We found 3 groups of whales in 2 hours, and one group was very playful. We saw two breaches very close-spectacular! And she was clearly respectful of the marine life, trying to balance a great tour with keeping a respectful distance....More

Erica and Tiana were awesome. Our group was wonderful too, we were all real calm when the dolphins approached and we all swam along! Was amazing! Mahalo girls. You rock!

We had an awesome experience with wonderful people. We saw lots of dolphins and Erika and Chris gave directions on how to be respectful and responsible while in the water with the dolphins!

We were very conscious of that and we found that their treatment was outstanding. First off the dolphins are born there...the staff is great and very caring. If the dolphins don't feel like participating they aren't forced... More

We don't think they meet cruise ships. If you can plan ahead, make a reservation. But, they depart at a harbor located 20 min. below Kona Kailua. They depart about 8:30 am. But, please check with company.
