The tour of this seahorse farm is well worth spending an hour. The farm is taking advantage of a project bringing ocean water onshore. They are researching ways to breed and raise sea horses, some species for the pet trade to avoid people taking them...More

This is a quick tour, won’t take up the whole day, but it’s well worth it. We booked the seahorse company at noon, then the octopus farm at 2. Both places are within a few blocks of each other. The tour is very interesting and...More

This is a neat place to learn about seahorses and see so many different kinds. Staff is informative and friendly. Admission is expensive, about $30, but how many seahorse farms can you visit in the world?

We had a fantastic experience holding and feeding a live seahorse. Learned quite a lot that day on how the farm operates and saves seahorse species. This a a great family outing for all ages.

This is one of the only places you can interact with Seahorses. The price goes up year to year, so get there quick!

My family and I enjoyed the tour at Ocean Rider. I felt it was worth the cost. You see different stages of seahorses in the tanks then at the end they will attach a seahorse to your hand. Important to learn about seahorses and what...More

Most of the area surrounding the tanks is rock so it would be difficult to traverse with a walker and/or wheelchair. You also need to get right up to the tanks and peer in to see the seahorses. The tanks are probably 4... More

I think it took our group about an hour and a half to 2 hours max. At the end there are some aquariums with sea horses you can watch and the folks there will answer questions and chat a bit after the main tour/presentations. More
