We enjoyed going to the seahorse farm, it was one of the highlights of our trip. That is the first time we were able to see baby seahorses and different varieties of seahorses. It was so special to hold a seahorse. The tour was very...More

This is a great tour for children and adults. Minimal walking and very educational. Not only did we get to feed the seahorses we also got to hold one at the end. This facility isn't fancy like an aquarium but it is a great learning...More

When we got there we were told a tour had already started but if we wanted they could catch us up and we could join the tour. The cost is almost $90 for two people and honestly it was not worth the money. The catch...More

Such a great time, it’s perfect for families or anyone who loves ocean life. We have gone through the site 4 times! We love going to the gift shop to help support them, even if we don’t take the tour.

We had signed up for the morning tour. We arrived a bit early so we were told you can check out our beach area. We walked out onto the concrete pier and you can view the pipe they use that brings in the seawater from...More

Loved everything about this place. The tour is really well done and informative. My 9 year old son said this was his favourite part of our recent trip. It is a little pricey but when all the money goes back to helping the Seahorse I...More

The tour is very informative. You get to see seahorses in every stage of their life and of course, get to "hold" one. It's a fun thing to do at least once.

What happens when companies take sea horses from the ocean and sell them to people for home aquariums? You’ll find out on this tour. You’ll also learn about the challenges of sea horse farming and the end ot end process. The tour is very informative....More

One of the first things we wanted to do on our trip to Hawaii. Hold a live seahorse, too cool. The tour was very informative and professionally conducted. Once in a lifetime experience.

Visited the seahorse farm as part of shore excursion while on a Hawaii cruise (so it was a bit more expensive than the walk up price but it did include transportation from Kona). Most of the tour group was from the ship but there were...More

Most of the area surrounding the tanks is rock so it would be difficult to traverse with a walker and/or wheelchair. You also need to get right up to the tanks and peer in to see the seahorses. The tanks are probably 4... More

I think it took our group about an hour and a half to 2 hours max. At the end there are some aquariums with sea horses you can watch and the folks there will answer questions and chat a bit after the main tour/presentations. More

We had the same questions and even though we had driven past in on our way to our hotel it was hard to see until we were looking for the solar panels. I would just put the directions in your (or your grandsons) phone and... More
