Overview
More
Major Marine Tours offers two thrilling full day cruises into the Kenai Fjords National Park, where wildlife is abundant and tidewater glaciers are massive. Covering 120 miles, you can choose between a 6 hour or 7.5 hour tour, and all trips are hosted by a National Park Ranger. At the glaciers you'll often witness calving - a process by which glaciers shed giant blocks of ancient ice. This area is also home to a wide variety of animals including whales, sea lions, seals and sea otters, as well as an abundance of birds including puffins and eagles. You can enhance your experience with our Alaska salmon and prime rib buffet, freshly prepared on board the vessel. All guests are guaranteed reserved seating inside our heated cabins.

The staff seemed burned out/distracted. Like they were going thru the motions of yet another herd of cruisers. The park ranger smiled and was engaging. The others seemed mood was off. That takes away from a bucket list experience. Ran out of salmon. Long wait....More

We opted for the long cruise, as I do Wildlife Photography. This trip did NOT disappoint! Although it did rain for about 1/2 the time, it did not hinder the Captain, the boat, or the Wildlife. The Crew was very nice and was very attentive...More

Staff and crew were great, will highly recommend Major Marine. Unfortunately only thing that was beyond their control was the weather. But that is to be expected....still a good time. All most forgot to mention the lunch, that also was very good !
