If you like wondering around harbors like I do, you'll love Seward. You're allowed access to the docks, which allows good viewing of the boats as well as the amazing natural scenery.

A great walk through the harbor. We saw many sea otters, boats, and seals. Enjoyed milk shakes and a great walk.

Incredibly beautiful place to stroll and view the scenery. We saw some cute and very frisky otters playing adult games. The prices in the harbour front shops were reasonable.

I have not been all around the world but I think that the scenery that you see from the Seward Boat Harbor has to be one of the top 25.

You should see plenty of activity all day since it is a busy harbor. Lunch to afternoon would be when I would plan to observe boating activity. Marine life is mostly out in the bay (Resurrection Bay). Suggest taking a... More

Sorry not sure but I think one operator said that it was free to Mainland USA. Cost of fishing charter is very high compared to Australian priced. Cost was approx USD $400 for about 8 hours.
