We are two mushers - Travis Beals & Sarah Stokey - who share a passion for dog sledding, the Iditarod sled dog race, & story telling. Come meet our dogs, play with our puppies, and learn a little bit about Alaska's state sport before going for a fun dog sled ride. Our tours are kept small, customized to your groups needs, and are very hands on. We look forward to meeting you!

Travis and Andre led us in Seward. We toured the facilities, met all the dogs, held *adorable* puppies, and learned about Iditarod racing. Then, we hopped on the cart and went for a ride. It was amazing! We didn't go far, but there were lots...More

Being on a dog sled on top of a glacier in the snow was the very BEST in Alaska. Great kennel and helicopter staff. Wonderful pilot. But oh those dogs! Worth every penny.

All the staff are amazing, and they each have their own personal connections with each of the dogs. The dog sledding on Godwin Glacier was incredible, and it was cool to walk around to each of the dogs and hear their stories from the guides....More

Travis and Noah were terrific hosts and answered all of our questions. Dogs were the best and we could have stayed and played all day! And the PUPPIES! Thanks to the two and four-legged team members at Turning Heads for a lifetime memory!

Well, the kids, 8 and 11, thought it was the best part of our 2-week Alaska vacation. Limiting the number of visitors, and not bussing them in like other kennels, made all the difference. The kids met the dogs, the excited young puppies, and got...More
