This is a top notch sea life facility. They have a large collection of large animals and I find the views of the large sea mammals from inside really neat. I was here in the off season, so it was a little weird because I...More

This little Sea Life Centre is a great place to visit at the end of a cruise into Alaska. It’s very informative and has a lot of interactive little displays. The puffins are super cute and the scuba divers under water cleaning the tanks are...More

This is a truly incredible facility that combines education, research, animal care and rehabilitation, and inspiration beautifully. I highly recommend visiting here and supporting this organization.

A great place to see marine animals, particularly sea lions and Alaskan birds. Had been trying to get photos of Puffins while boating and should have just waited. Some nice information films, cafe and lovely gift shop. Loved the visit here.

We have been members of the Sea Life Center since we moved up here 6 years ago. Every time we go to the sea life center there is something new and exciting. This last time was a baby Beluga Whale. Wow!!

Takes about an hour to see everything. Very focused on local fish and sea mammals; we learned a lot about the area.

We were at the center in Seward in August 2017 and it was excellent. Getting to see how the puffins swam in the water and then the baby walrus. They had other exhibits but these two were our favorites. Would return for sure. Thanks for...More

Probably one of the best places to see a good number of the marine species living in Alaska. Can be a pretty quick walk through, doesn't take a large amount of time. Good gift shop if you're looking for souvenirs.

Contact the Alaska Sealife Center directly. I believe they have regularly scheduled behind the scenes tours, but probably do them on special requests also. The staff is very informative and available for questions.
