A nice display of oceanic information, with several live displays for sea birds, sea lion, harbour seal and some other fish. We spent about an hour, which allowed us to see everything. Price per person was just under $25 each

A fun and engaging experience. Pretty pricey but it was nice. Kids enjoyed it as did we and we all learned something new!

Small but mighty museum focused on local marine life. We are usually very anti-zoo, but chose to visit the SeaLife center because the animals are in rescue and rehabilitation, then when appropriate, released. The animals seem very well cared for and we enjoyed seeing a...More

It was so fun to see the animals up close and to learn about the education, research, and rescue efforts done at the SeaLife center. I especially liked watching the seals dive up and down, as well as going inside the bird room!

Very special. Built with funds from the Valdez spill. They are still having repercussions from this. What we loved was that all of the signage was easy to read and understand. People of all ages were there and like Mystic, Long Beach and Monterey great...More

It was raining pretty hard in Seward so we decided to visit the Sealife center. We were impressed by the variety of salt water aquarium displays, hands on exhibits, and educational materials. Very kid friendly.

The Center is informative, interactive, educational and fun! The tanks are set up to allow the visitors to view the wildlife above and below the waterline. The rookery is a fascinating up-close perspective of the gulls, puffins and eiders. The local artists work is displayed...More

Contact the Alaska Sealife Center directly. I believe they have regularly scheduled behind the scenes tours, but probably do them on special requests also. The staff is very informative and available for questions.
