This is a cool attraction. If you like civil war history it has great history exhibits. Or just want to walk one of the many trails through the extensive park range. Hard to believe it is preserved so wonderfully in a metro area. The scenery is beautiful.

We decided to visit the free national park after reading about it in a travel guide. Definitely see the video at the visitor's center first before touring the site or you won't know the significance of what you're seeing at the multiple sites spread out over many miles. Drive up to the top of the mountain (or hike) for a... More

The park has great historical significance but the natural beauty is what is not to be missed. Hiking to the top takes 45 minutes at a medium pace and is well worth it id you want a view of the local area. A great morning event in the summer before the day gets too hot.

We have hiked here twice and have covered about 16 miles of the available trails. The trails are excellently maintained. A good place for beginner hikers and kids. Friendly environment. Great views of the surrounding areas. On the maps, note where you can refill your water bottles.

Disclaimer: I go for the exercise and not the history. I have been through the museum once and its not much to look at. There are some cannons too, but don't make the trip just to see that. I have hiked to the top 100+ times in 3 years and in every season. The parking is usually full, so be... More

I love that there is now a trail to walk at bottom of the mountain in addition to the mountain hike We've gone to walk at Kennesaw mountain for years and it's always a joy I recommend for runners, joggers or walkers .... What's nice is you could push someone in wheelchair around bottom of mountain now

Great activity for a family day out to enjoy beautiful spring weather! We were able to talk our teenage son into joining us and our dogs always enjoy the time we spend together as a family.

If you want a decent hike with a rewarding view at the end Kennesaw Mountain is the place to go. You get great views of the landscape and of downtown Atlanta skyline.

Start your visit at the visitor center and watch a short film and walk through a small museum. A gift shop is also available. Parking was limited so we had to park off-site and walk about a quarter mile. If you are a hiker there are about 20 miles of trails. A self guided auto tour is also available. Nearby... More
