Really loved the Paalasmaa and nearby islands..there is actually a ferry which takes you to the islands for free! Scenery is amazing..especially in summer when the sun doesn't set completely. Nearby Koli national park has also stunning views.
Beautiful views from the hill tops around the lake. We were a week too early in the season to benefit from ferry/boat rides on the lake but we enjoyed driving along it and admiring it from Ukko-Koli hill.
