Visited in May 2017. Superb sightings of at least 6 individuals, with wolverine activity all night. Had the place to ourselves, which was excellent. Comfortable bed in the hide. Recommended.

Wonderful wildlife. However customer service was appaling. The dry toilet had not been emptied. The guide told us that he will not clean the toilets if the previous visitors have left them untidy. In addition, some of the group members were left without food even...More

Had to great days at Era Eero, on the hope that we would see the Wolverine, and we were not disappointed. You stay in a hide overnight, and the owner puts out bait, so that the wolverines come up very close to you, so that...More

Arrived at 2.30 pm - warm welcome given and then we were off for 2 nights in a 2 person hide in a small clearing - in which we saw LOTS of wolverines, occasionally 2-3 at once across 12 nights. First wolverine appeared both nights...More

Let me start with I LOVED IT. I've always felt a special connection with the wolverine. You could say it is my totem animal. I was looking for a place where there would be a good chance to see these magical animals. Of course the...More

This is a great opportunity to see animals in the wild, or semi-wild really, because food is hidden all over the slightly cleared area and also thrown into the trees. The two person blinds – small houses really - are situated in the woods at...More

First, lets get the bad points out of the way. This isn't for everyone. There's no electricity, no luxurious bathrooms and no flushing toilets. It also isn't the easiest place to find but then this is a wilderness experience. However if you want close up...More

A remote secret, tucked away in the Finnish forest. We were hoping for Wolverine sightings and were not disappointed! We saw these incredible animals 5 different times, all in close proximity, exhibiting different behaviour and characters. It was breathtaking! So close that it was easy...More

Of course you can't take any date with any wild animal, we know well this rule. In Era Eero we were unlucky and we saw nothing at all, neither wolverine nor bears. But this is not a problem. The problem is that we arrived at...More
