Driving down James St & seeing the magnificent view of Elliot Bay shining with a halo of happiness made my day
Feb 2021 • Solo
My fav places on Elliot bay boardwalk are Ivar’s & I as. Solo used to go into restaurants and just order a great gourmet Clam Cowder, yummy😉 There is an awesome buffet place by the ferry ⛴ loading area as well as some shoe 👞 stores to find something special. At Pike St market you name it & you’ll as visitor to Seattle will find it there gifts & community & food & pastry & the flowers 💐 are the best deal in Washington. Just up the hill is a Nordstrom Rack & a couple of blocks further the first original Starbucks cafe & the at Westgate Mini-mall they have a chocolate store that sells mochas that have THE best chocolate taste in this universe. Under Westgate is the underground bus that will take to Seattle Center East & China town West & on the top floor is the Monerail that takes you to Seattle Center with a great overview of Seattle either direction you find a basket load of things to do & if your blessed they just might have an food event in the water park area. I used to walk that direction during my lunch break so I would miss out on an food event.

Good Waterfront.
Oct 2019
Elliot Bay has a lot of history to it.I found out about it after visiting the place, by surfing on the Internet.
It was nice walking along the bay for the scenic beauty of the Bay as well as the trees were just changing its colours for Autumn.
The water front bay is situated close to the Cruise Ships Harbor.
A very busy & interesting place.
It was a very nice experience.
A good walk if you have the time.

Last park before the cruise terminals
Dec 2019 • Couples
This is the last park before the cruise terminals and can be reached via the walkways and cycleways that start from Myrtle Edwards Park. It overlooks the water There isn't too much to see here that you haven't seen in either Centennial or Myrtle parks.

Very scenic

Very scenic area. Nice scroll back to port but long. Great areas to turn off like rock towers in beach, etc.

Nice waterfront walk
Sep 2019 • Friends
We enjoyed a nice walk along the waterfront which linked to hotels, shops and restaurants. Short walk from here to the market place and to some shops. One end is set for cruise/ship departure.

A great area to explore and eat.
Sep 2019
This is a great area to explore and eat. Be aware that the old elevated highway is being demolished so parking and access varies weekly. Lots of parking in many locations but using transit to get there is a great idea. The waterfront extends for a long distance along the beautiful historic area.

The soul of Seattle
May 2019
Any visitor to this beautiful city should consider a stroll along the Elliot Bay waterfront a must – do activity. It is a walker’s paradise.

You might start at the Seattle ferry terminal and walk north to Olympic Sculpture Park, created by the Seattle Art Museum. It is about a 30 minute walk at a brisk pace, but certainly you will stop along the way to take in the sights.

If you would like seafood, there is no place better than Elliott‘s Oyster House. It is between the Seattle ferry terminal and Pier 66, where the cruise ships stop. I suggest that you get there at 3 o’clock, sit at the counter and sample the Happy Hour delicious oysters, and the Dungeness crab cocktail is wonderful as well.

If you are looking for a beautiful longer walk, you can continue past the Sculpture Park to Pier 91, where other cruise ships stop.

Beautiful and something for everyone.

There is so much to do, and to eat by the market and waterfront. The cruises are affordable and usually about an hour long. Of course, weather is to be considered in your plans. The indoor specialty stores are good for any visit.

A must do for visitors to Seattle
Mar 2019 • Solo
Water helps define the city of Seattle and Elliott Bay is a big park of that. It runs north to south all along the west side of the city. There are so many things to do so it might be hard to choose. There are many parks by or near the bay. There are also lots of places to eat or have a drink. But I think watching boats and the views of the Olympics are two of the main reasons to find your way there.

Nice waterfront

Elliot Bay Waterfront is a must-see if you're in Seattle. If you've got a long flight layover, take the metro downtown and hang out here for a few hours.
