Climb 520 feet to the observation deck of Seattle's signature building, which is actually 605 feet tall, for spectacular views of the city and its surrounding area. For food and fantastic sights check out SkyCity, the tower's rotating restaurant that makes one complete orbit per hour.

We enjoyed being able to see Seattle "in the round". The weather was nice, so we could be out on the observation deck. There are also tables inside where you can sit as you look around!

The wait to go to the top was a little long but oh so worth it! We were there on a clear day and could see an amazing view! Informative history on the way up.

Fun place for everyone... unless you don't like heights!! There was a 2 hour wait when we visited, but there is a lot to do and see in the area. Once up top the view is fantastic. And lots of tech options to check out.

The Space Needle is one of the most iconic places in Seattle and a must see! You can spend your time seeing the complete 360 view of Seattle and they have fun interactive maps where you can find out more information about what's around Seattle.

I enjoy the Space Needle anytime I go to Seattle. The views are of course stunning. They have Valet Parking which eliminates a hassle factor. All in all accessibility was easy and while waiting in line there was enough distraction to make the time go...More

We plan to do Space Needle and Chihuly Gardens late Sunday afternoon/early evening in August - what are the chances the space needle will sell out? I don't really want to be pinned to a half-hour time slot but don't want to miss it either. There doesn't seem to be a way to buy combo ticket without committing to a half-hour time slot for the needle. Thoughts?

Just buy the ticket when you get there it will not sell out. Also, we were able to buy our Space Needle ticket and then bring it back within 24 hours to purchase the discounted Chihuly ticket. Finally, consider the CityPass... More

My family will be in Seattle for 1 1/2 days in August. The Space Needle is on our list of must-do's. Is it worth it to pay the extra $ for the VIP ticket? Thanks!

Just get normal tickets bought in advance. It's great. VIPs just get to skip some of the queue but it's not a big queue.

As long as you wish until it closes. When you are ready to descend one of the elevators will take you down.
