Alki Beach is one of those Seattle must visit places. Even in the dead of winter. The sunsets can be spectacular. Walks along the water, or a fire in one of the fire-pits, people watching, rollerblading and more. There are also plenty of places to...More

Alki Beach is the closest beach in Seattle. Go for a run along it, play in the sun or enjoy a bonfire.

We enjoyed walking along Alki Beach. It was a beautiful view. We even saw a Bald Eagle fly over us. They have many restaurants to stop by and have a bite to eat.

Alki sits across the water from Seattle's skyline and offers a view from the waterfront up. You can walk the sidewalk along the water for a long, long time, then stop at one of the restaurants across the street, many on the funky side. And,...More

We took a water taxi and rented bikes at that same spot. The ride to the Alki beach trail was short and safe :)
