It's a beautiful conservatory full of green lush plants that fill that place to the brim. My favorite is the cacti wing with tons of architectural plants that always put me in the mood to sketch or just sit and admire them.

Friends visiting from out of town wanted to visit this place. Pleasantly surprised at the various displays in each section of the multi-room greenhouse. Tropical, Desert, Orchids, it was interesting and worth the 44 admission fee.

The park is a very nice and unique park to go to, it is in the quieter part of the city, so some might like that feel.

This conservatory is situated in the northern section of Volunteer Park and abuts the Lake View Cemetery. They have little ticket kiosks inside to get your sticker from. My camera didn’t like the humidity inside so I was unable to take any photos inside after...More

It’s not a large conservatory but the facilities are gorgeous and well worth the $4 entry fee. We really had a lovely experience. I loves the Cactus room!

The park is a pleasant place to slow down the pace of the busy city. Lots to see and do, or just relax. We were pleased that we ventured there.

Lovely park. Quite a historical place to visit. Enjoy the view from the Water Tower. Hopefully the sun is out when you're here.

There's a great cafe cafe near the park called "The Volunteer Park Cafe". Cheap, friendly and delish.
