I bought a ticket to an event at MOHAI and went for the first time. Very cool venue and interesting exhibits. Perfect size museum to walk around and learn some interesting things about Seattle but not so big you become overwhelmed. Great location in South Lake Union. Parking is a bit tricky so plan ahead.

Since moving to south Lake Union this museum has really come of age. Everything is laid out very well and easy to navigate. Its a wonderful place to take the family or friends from out of town.

As a mechanical engineer, I can spend hours in industry museums, and have bored my wife worldwide doing so. This museum is very heavy on history and lighter on industry. There's a lot of the history of Seattle and some fun things for the kids to crank, push, and turn but as an industrial museum, it's a disappointment. I was... More

What a great museum for all ages! Elevator available to each floor. Hands on exhibits along side visual and auditory exhibits. This is a wonderful museum that starts from the Native American through to current day technological founders who now reside in the area.

This is my 4-5th time visiting MOHAI in recent years. I loved the temporary food exhibit! Learned a lot about the culinary scene and history in Seattle! Highly recommend a visit!

This place is definitely worth visiting if you're interested in learning about the great discovery's made in Seattle and the history of Seattle. It's also interactive for kids. We reached the museum a little too late and only managed to see the ground floor and half of the first floor. If you like reading everything like me, best you allow... More

Day 3 and our last museum Mohai. Travel through the beginning of Northwest history. Center for Inovation, Maritime in Seattle, A Kid Zone and and the current Edible City exhibit. This last Edible exhibit will run to September 10th. This is a celebration of farmer and growers in the area that embrace the wealth of our earliest beginnings. Like Oysrers,... More

The Museum of History and Industry sounds like the boring museum in the world. On the contrary, in it's new location in thnSeattle section of South Lake Unin, it is a vribeant fascinating, interactive museum of Seattle's multi-faceted history and industry. From the Flying Doctor plane, to an amazing sculpture from sky to water by John Grade, to the Japanese... More
