The Seattle Center was originally built for the 1962 World's Fair. As it was close to our hotel, and on our to-do list, me and my oldest son Matt really enjoyed walking throughout a small portion of the 74 acre site. We especially loved the old armory where there were Irish Folk Dancers on stage (just prior to St Patty's... More

Very disappointed in the Science Center. It was a poorly done young kids "experience". DId not see a dingle interesting thing. There is the Imax which is excellent but you can get a ticket for that separate with no need to see the center. I suspect it would have been worth the money if a large exhibit was on display... Lots of activities and places to have a snack or sit down for a meal. We spent all morning visiting different activities, enjoyed lunch at Collections Cafe, hopped on the monorail to visit Pike Place.

Not only physically centered in Seattle, but the center for the arts and sciences in part, and a gathering spot for many special events or just a day to walk around the fountain and get some lunch at the Armory. I go alone, with friends, with grandchildren.

This area has several activities in a relatively small area. You can easily fill several hours and there are numerous places to eat and rest. The monorail is a bargain and even more so if you are traveling with small children.

The monorail is a fun (short) ride to the Seattle Center. My kids loved it and wanted to keep riding it over and over.

We love the offerings at ART and we love to walk through Seattle Center afterwards. Check out the fountain and playground!

Such a great space right in the city that holds the Space Needle, Pacific Science Centre, the EMP, Chihuly Gardens, Monorail stop etc. Could walk from Pike Market Place (maybe 20-30 min walk). Loved walking through the parks, looking at all the landscaping and the fountain. There was a Spanish festival on whilst we were there and it was great.... More

It's a nice tour to get to know a little bit of the city of Seattle. It's not that great but I do recommend.

It is easy to find free parking in the area on Sunday mornings. We love walking through the center. We always see something new. We also have memberships to the Science Center and with it come free IMAX tickets. The armory is one of our favorite places with good choice of food or snacks or just to admire its structure.
