Everything you could want in a city center. Park areas, events, cycling, roller skating, even a food court.

This was the site of the 1962 World Fair, so there is a ton of different stuff to do here and a lot of places to eat nearby. If you buy a citypass, a lot of the places to use it are in this area...More

Seattle Center is always worth a visit but at this time of year you have holiday lighting, special events, like the PNB Nutcracker, Plays, and arts and crafts shows. If you have visitors from out of town by all means bring them here...for something/anything.

This is a pleasant area to walk around briefly, before or after visiting the Space Needle (with its nice views of the city below) and the spectacular Chihuly Glass and Garden exhibits! An outdoor flower sculpture was also impressive. Downtown restaurants and cafes are a...More

All the guidebooks promised a thriving, hip and fun Seattle center, so we were excited to explore the area. What was surprising were the numbers of what looked to be drug users and homeless everywhere. While we felt quite safe, it was a bit disconcerting...More

allow at least 1 1/2 to two hours in Chihuly, and at least 1 1/2 for space needle. The lines at space needle can take 3/4 hour before you actually get to an elevator. mopop is 2-3 hours itself. So let's say, make it a day.

Yes, but for that, you will have to go to the Boeing factory, which is not at Seattle Center.
