I was at a museum nearby, and after I was done I walked around the lake to take in some of the views of the houseboats, and planes coming and going. It is the only place I believe in the U.S. where you have the...More

We visited Lake Union on a tour and saw house boats which we really enjoyed and it reminded us of Sausalito, California. As we passed the houseboats, people were lounging on their patios and reading and greeted us. We saw people on kayaks and they...More

I must admit the day we went it was raining, which made it feel a little miserable. However despite that the views were great and there was a tranquil feeling about it. Easiest to access from the tram or streetcar with an ORCA card.

We visited the lake as part of the 'Ride the Ducks' tour. It's a nice lake with lots of activities and a nice view of the skyline of Seattle. There are houseboats in different sizes and are fun to look at.

Stayed half block from lake and really enjoyed being in the small neighborhood, yet only 3 miles from downtown.

This is a great place to sit and watch the sea planes take off and land. We didn't find a lot of great patio/view restaurants, but hung out at the park and watched. Bring a coffee or soda and sit and enjoy the view for...More

We stayed across the street from the lake. There were places to eat and drink along the wharf. Sea planes landing and taking off was great!

I really don't know, but I would recommend a small boat as the lake isn't really anything to see. You may want to check photos of the area (lake union) out, online before taking the time and paying $ for a tour, if one is... More
