Bring your bike, rollerblades, scooter, strollers, or just your feet and come and enjoy Green lake. A couple miles to go around the lake, so small ones can do it. Summer time, offers the peanut pool for kids to cool off in, great grass area's to picnic on. A small golf area, basketball courts, and if you want, go into... More

Green Lake was an ancient spring turned urban lake. It boasts a great walking, biking roller skating trail around the lake in the lovely setting in which the lake sits. There are plenty of grassy greens to relax on and benches to rest on. There is food at the north end of the park and across the street from the... More

Especially in the spring, the trees flower that surround the 3 mile (approx.) lake make it smell so wonderful. Its fun to watch people as you relax or get exercise yourself.

We love Green Lake. It is a great place to go for a walk or bike ride. You can also swim at the beaches, play in the wading pool or sit and people watch. The trails are well maintained and there are great coffee shops and restaurants around the lake.

I grew up in Seattle. I learned to swim in Greenlake. Greenlake is a gem in Seattle. You must visit there if you have about 3-4 hours of free time to enjoy the outside in the middle of a City.

I live 8 blocks from this wonderful park. It is a lake without outlet, 2.7 miles around, which makes it perfect for the daily walk or run. Bicycles and skaters also share, so there is a pathway divided to accommodate all. In recent years I have become a birder and Green Lake is a prime place to see birds year... More

I believe the path around Green Lake is about 3 miles, so I'll either run around it for exercise or walk with my wife - either way the diverse people there make both activities enjoyable. At the north end of the lake there are a few restaurants to round out the experience.

We stopped by on a sunny afternoon for a brief walk. The walking trail is flat and very accessible for all ages. Pretty surroundings and made for an enjoyable interlude.
