This is a really cool organization that supports the preservation of wooden boats. If you like boats and like history, I strongly suggest you take the time to go here. It's very interesting and a worthwhile organization to support. Definitely a history nerd destination! cwb.org

The Free Sunday Sail program is a great way to get out on the water and a free tour around Lake Washington with a historical guide. Anyone feeling ambitious could rent a boat and do their own tour!

My husband and I enjoyed all the different wooden boats. So many unique designs that it turned out to be better than i expected.

You have to get trained to take a little sailboat out, but hey, its fun! They have people there working on wooden boats too. Its like a living piece of history and its next to the Maritime museum.
