We took two ferry trips just to escape from city roads and see city shores as recommended by friend Nithin Thampi. Thanks to him, we enjoyed both trips. We took our first trip from Seattle to Bainbridge Island and then drove to Kingston and second trip from Kingston to Edmonds. We took car to ferry terminal and purchase ticket sitting... More

Visiting friends on Bainbridge Island, we decided to take the ferry from Seattle. It was very relaxing and enjoyable to chug along the shore. The Seattle skyline from the water is worth the trip in itself. There is a limited snack bar on the ferry and the people were so friendly. Definitely worth the time!

We enjoyed this short but scenic ferry ride from Bainbridge Island to Seattle. The time spent on the ferry offers spectacular views of the Space Needle and the rest of the Seattle skyline. We did NOT have a reservation for this ferry and only had to wait approximately 30 minutes to drive onto the ferry, despite the fact that it... More

The ferry ride to and from Bainbridge Island is a smooth, comfortable 35 minutes with great views of the Seattle skyline, Puget Sound and the islands. A great way to travel with your car, on foot, or on your bicycle.

The best nicest smooth ferry serve for 35 min crossing for seniors $4.10, and the island has a local bus service that takes people to their door, and for $1.00 we rode around for 40 min with a driver from the island and loved it and gave us a personal history tour.

The ferry tour of Lake Union was very enjoyable. The captain provided a narrative explaining the sights, and it was neat to see the shoreline from the lake. The ferry leaves from South Lake Union park, to the left of the museum. Cash only.

Kudos to the Seattle Ferry Service Team who are the actual architects of the beautiful and pleasant ferry service. If you want to visit the Bain Bridge island then you need to board a ferry. Up/down ticket would cost around 8 to 10 dollars. When the ferry is on its way to BainBridge Island you will see the seagulls closely... More

We took the ferry from Bainbridge back to Seattle and it was a beautiful day. Very windy! The trip from Bainbridge is actually free, I only had to pay for my two passengers. Getting on/off was exciting but really enjoyed seeing the city from the harbor.
